Has anyone bought the layouts CMS from m2scripts? http://m2scripts.com/myspace-scripts/layout-cms.php

Thinking about getting it but don't want to waste another $30 on something that has problems.

If you have this script, how easy is adding layouts and customizing the script?

Script works pretty good, but the coding is messy as heck, and it is VERY easy to hack into the admin panel. I wouldn't suggest buying it.

i have it and haven't had any problems with it. Its really messy looking if you don't edit it to look better, but if you have some php knowlege and editing skills you can do a lot with it.

The admin panel is rather easy to hack if you don't change your password...not sure of the other ways to do it, but haven't really cared to try...

Yeah, I would say good deal.. But you should be ready for a day or two of customization so it looks good.

I applaud their efforts but I can't imagine this script will hold up against MSLS. Oops, did I let a product leak ;)

No formal details on the front end or back end yet, but how about a url of the current demo in progress as a teaser...

Enjoy ;)

And yes, you can import MSRS Layouts. All the layouts on the demo were imported from the default MSRS Layout structure.

Fantastic! I like the layout preview. I like the way the image gets larger when the mouse rolls over it on the front page. I like the ads integrated between the layout pics. This is going to be totally AWESOME!

The layout preview is nothing like other layout previews as you can tell. We take your myspace user id and show you what the layout will look like on your myspace profile. We leave everything that's not layout code intact.

Not to mention you get to chose the ads displayed where myspace would normally put ads.

Looks great any time table on the release

As much as I want to give a release time I've made that mistake in the past. We are talking days though, not weeks or months.

We made sure to not say anything about this one until it was done so it won't be a long wait.

am buying a lot of layouts here and there and desprately need this layout cms.

also Greg J whats the progress on the link script that you were talking about?
am intrested to know more on that as well
have not started link exchange as i am waiting for that to come out as well.

also please keep us infromed about the your other products as well

The link exchange just needs some attention as the product was definitely not as stated when I purchased it.

It uses javascript to place the links which is pointless if we're going for PR. However I've spoken with a LOT of people who are part of the DP COOP and every one of them say that the coop is good for traffic and traffic only and they notice no difference in PR on the sites that use it versus the sites that do not so javascript might be acceptable.

It's been modified to use php but if your site is congested or the routing equipment infront of it become congested, it has the possibility to slow down page loads.

It's on its way but we need to make some modifications before we release it.

There's another very, very large project specific to myspacepros that has nothing to do with a script release I think everyone will be very interested in being a part of but an announcement on that is still about two weeks out. It's big though. Very big. More so for people with high volume sites related to myspace, but everyone will benefit from it a great deal regardless.

I'll keep you all posted though.

I use it. Its nice because its completely customizable so it don't look like everyone else's out there. not to mention it has saved me a lot more time than adding the layouts manually. Also its only $30, cant find that anywhere else.

I like it less than MSRS =S I don't get what's special about it so far? The live friend ID preveiwer is cool, but many other sites have it anyway. I was hoping for a new 'revolutionary' feature. Maybe there are some but you'll reveal them closer to the date of release.

I'm pretty sure there is an integrated admin panel that comes with all kinds or easy to use features +D

Hey greg you say it will be ready in a few days so does that mean it will be available sometime early this week :)

Greg-J

@jeremy860,
You haven't seen customizable ;)

@DavidR,
The live preview other sites have is poorly implemented. They don't take into account any extra information that may be in the About Me that users might want to save, or in most cases any code in any other section. Nor do they provide you, the site owner, to place your own ads their.

@minnseoelite,
No release dates mate.

There are other features, yes. One in particular that will make dramatic impacts on people like Fryman, PGZ or others which run high traffic sites but I'll leave those for release. It's a niche product, but more than that it is our current teams first release as a team which is why it was so important to us to make it more than complete.

I would agree the live preview the other sites have is poor. As for getting to show your own ads that is a cool feature but also something anyone like myself with a little coding knowledge could do for instance a site I have right now I took the existing script and switched out the codes so that my adsense codes show in the ad spots not to difficult but then again not for everyone so I am sure it will be a welcome feature to others.....cant wait to see what other features this will have.
