Anyone with a generic MySpace resource script should find this interesting.
I converted one of my generic sites to Gregs MySpace Resource script a few days ago. I had the site for around 12 months and now I'm kicking myself thinking about all the money I would have made if I had changed it over eariler.
It was a pretty popular script and I see a lot of sites using it. It received good traffic but the CTR was awfull compaired to the sites I have Gregs MSRS on so I decided to buy another licence to `Gregs script and place it on the domain.
Heres the CTR results for January, it's pretty easy to see the day the scripts were changed over.
2.17%
0.72%
0.62%
0.42%
1.42%
1.85%
0.96%
2.01%
0.33%
0.74%
1.72%
5.60%
7.39%
14.93%
11.81%
12.50%
And thats without images next to the ads and no work done to the site yet....
Pretty awesome results I think.

It's nice to see someone showing their MSRS and ctr.
My ctr is going down. The more info I add to the front page the lower it seems to get.I'm gonna give it another week to see if it improves if not I'm going to trim the front page right down.

I think your page is a bit long, once you start scrolling I think people forget about the adsense ads. I would swap the top block with the text above it, that way people will see the google links straight away and might see something of interest to click on.
Much as I like how you have your big banner set up I think you are wasting space, I would place an cpa banner ad in there ... I find it's the best spot for converting by far.
I'm guessing the more stuff we have on our pages the lower the ctr will go, the adsense ads get lost in the crowd and of course there is a lot more interesting stuff to click on to take a look at.

Thanks for the data. I think I'll try trimming my index and menu back some as well and see how that effects my CTR.

I've been thinking about this and have to agree with Cyclops that minimum is best.
I think the latest adds on the front page only for about a week just to give SE's a chance to index them...especially if they aren't directly on your menu (if you put everything on there it will be the longest web page in the world).

wow.. 14.93% with no images next to ads?? I'm definitely going to remove the news section on my site to see how it affects the CTR. Thanks Cyclops!

Well the Adsense team are getting even tougher, just received this in relation to one of my sites they removed adsense from.
I don't know where to go from here ..... basically it looks like they are saying the whole design needs changing.
Hello Michael,
Thanks for writing in. I understand that you've made some changes to your site in effort to comply with our program policies. However, I've reviewed myspacescriptz.com and noticed that the ad code is implemented in a manner that may be confusing to users. For example, the formatting of the subsections on www.myspacescriptz.com ("Layouts", "Games", etc.) is similar to a Google ad unit, which may lead users to think that the Google ads are part of your site content.
Please review your site thoroughly and make any necessary changes to ensure that the neighboring content does not look similar to the ads. Once the changes have been made, feel free to reply to this email, and I'll gladly review your site for compliance.
We appreciate your cooperation.
Sincerely,
Diane
The Google AdSense Team

It's the grid.I took mine out and replaced it with contentbefore.
Then again they advise you to blend the ads....you can't win.

wow even with adsense my site is nowhere near that...
my ctr with ypn sucks, but i think it might be because my pageviews to unique visitors ratio is 14:1

i still make much more with yahoo than with adsense... then again it could be a site to site issue.

Cyclops, may I ask what the script you had before was?
