I don't know if the title makes since. haha :p

But anyways, at the moment, I'm trying to find a good place to buy and host a domain.

But yes, do you have any recommendations?

I'm trying to find something with unlimited bandwidth, and like 100 gbs or 50 gbs.

:boat:

EDIT ---

I need a hosting website that has PHPmysqladmin or something like that. :?
im going to be doing a lot with databases.

Unlimited bandwidth is usually never really unlimited. The limit is just in their Terms of Use rules.

I would suggest buying your domain at 1&1 and hosting at Surpass Hosting. That's what I do anyway and I haven't had any problems.

You can get 90% codes if you look around but be careful as they have a habit of making people with busy sites buy dedicated hosting.

Yeah that's your own server.

How many sites do you own and whats the traffic on each? Chances are, you won't need a dedicated server for awhile.

I only have one at the moment, but I plan on having more sites with other Social Networking sites. Like Hi5, Friendster, etc.

but I cant afford 65-200 for hosting. so I dont know. :(

My advice would be to start off with the cheapest hosting and upgrade as needed. That way you won't be paying for more than you need.

DO NOT GO WITH SURPASS HOSTING PLEAAAAASE.

I used to recommend them and say they were good, but that's because I had NO ISSUES with them, so of course I never had problems, that was until my sites started to get suspended, and then when the issues started their customer service SUCKED, I mean, they would take for ever to reply, and once they knew I got a couple of 1k uv's they were trying to make me go dedicated, which was over $130 PLUS $40 for a cpanel, I got a VPS with steadfast.net for a fraction of that and the cpanel I only pay $8.00 extra for it and their customer service is EXCELLENT I always got replies within minutes, and well, with what happened to Steph, you should know you should stay away.

Never get your domain with the same people that host you. Get your domain with namecheap.com where you get free whois privacy, I am with them, and Godaddy, so either one would do, but I would definitely go with namecheap. I've heard many people recommend 1&1 and hostgator, you should definitely check those out.

Hostmonster is actually run by Matt who owns Bluehost :)

I have 12 websites in total using over 800 gb space and 9000 gb bandwidth per month paying only $6.95 per month and as yet still don't need a dedicated server.

Don't waste your money on dedicated unless you know you are going to need it.

I could probably host you. I offer "unmetered" bandwidth but with certain conditions. As long as your website doesn't begin to hog server resources (CPU), I don't care how much bandwidth you use.

Security is a huge issue concern of mine, so scripts using outdated coding won't work on my server. (Like people who use php includes and use a direct url, instead of paths).

I generally give people a week to make their first hosting payment (this does NOT include domain registration though), so if you want a test run. Feel free to PM me. :winkiss:
