I am thinking about selling my website, but I have a few questions.
When I sell the site, am I still responsible for hosting the site or does the new owner provide their own hosting?
Also, how do I handle the domain renewal? I bought the domain at yahoo, when it was only $1.99 and $9.95 each year after that. They raised their prices, and it's now $34.95 to renew. I don't want to be charged the 34.95 when my renewal time comes.
What do you suggest?

When you sell a site, you also transfer domain ownership to the person who bought it. Let them transfer the domain to another registrar, it will save them money. I don't really know about hosting but I believe it's up to the buyer to provide hosting for the website.

Typically, if you're transfering the website to a new owner, you're transfering it to a new host as well. Just be specific as to what your intentions are when you put it up for sale. You call the shots!
