PHOTOSHOP TUTORIAL
1. open the image you want to use. Here's mine:

2. select the rectangular marquee tool. Match your settings to mine:

3. Make a shape of a polaroid, like this:

4. Create a new layer(Layer>>New>>layer). Fill the selection with any color you want. I chose white.
5. Press CTRL+D to deselect. Press CTRL+T to free transform your border:

6. On your Layers panel, right click the layer with your border and duplicate it:

7. Press CTRL+T to free transform it and drag it where ever you want:

8. When you're satisfied, erase the unwanted lines with the eraser tool or click E on your keyboard. Make sure to click on the layer first of the lines you want to erase.

9. Repeat steps 3-8 until the whole picture is like pieces of pictures:turned:. I cropped the picture to be smaller:

10. Merge all layers by clicking on Layer >> Merge visible or just press Shft+Ctrl+E.
11. You should have only one layer now, to make the background transparent, click on the pen toolhttp://i37.tinypic.com/j7vmtc.gif. Trace the shape around the polaroids. You should end where you start:

see the lines around the shape?
12. right click on your picture and click make selection. set the feather to 0 and click "ok" and you'll see dancing lines. Click Select then inverse. And you'll see dancing lines all around the picture.

13. Press Delete on your keyboard and press Ctrl+D to deselect and...you're done!:turned:
