Just go on mysace and click on forgot password and change the password, oh if his not hacked your e-mails account. even if his hacked your mail account you can change the password if you remember, all your details like secret question and stuff. And never open a .exe files if your not sure what it is.

Your best bet is to use a different computer to change the passwords so he can't see what your new passwords are, because the logger only gets the words you type on the computer that you installed the file on.

Make sure you scan your computer before doing anything else!

to be 100% safe. this is what i would do, but i dont think you would want to do all this...


backup all your files, pic, music, programs....all the stuff you know you need...
then re install windows , (format your hard drive so it erases EVERYTHING)
then just install your programs once again, and add your pics, music..etc. back to your harddrive.

Do you honestly believe them? They won't give you your sites back in exchange for the Myspace account, they're just playing with you. It's best to break all contact immediately, contact your host about it and try to get your website back. Forget about your Myspace account for now, websites are a lot more important.

I would definitely use another computer meanwhile, if you're not totally sure you got rid of whatever he sent you, I would take it to a professional, just to be on the safe side.

Police probably won't do anything, they won't waste their time on a hacked myspace account. Just do everything you can to get your ***site back. Change the password of wherever you host your domains immediately using a different computer. Then set the nameservers to a free page explaining it's hacked.

you can get your login/pass reset if you provide your credit card/contact info. I've done it before with godaddy... not sure about surpass or anything else, but it should be easier on a service like that. They have all your billing records so they know the real identity of the owner. by all means after you get everything settled, go ahead and find a lawyer or investigator and bring up a civil suit for damages... for all the days your site was not generating income. You can also bring up criminal charges, but you have a better bet with the fbi than your local police.

they compare the pics on the profile with the one they send. if the person doesn't have any pics, they are screwed.

But there's always ways to preventing the acceptance of trojans and tips to keep yourself safe from scams, so it's really your own fault if anything does happen to you.

Steph, I don't know if you've already worked out a way to remove the keylogger but I'll lead you to a very powerful tool that practically removes everything suspicious in your comp.

It has to be run in safe mode & actually could damage your computer if directions are not followed properly. & Since you won't have a connection while doing the fix, you'd need to save the instructions so you can still refer to it while in safe mode.

I have used this before, & I know how powerful it can be, so perhaps this might help.

Please tell us why he no's more then this? He is probably compleetley innocent in all of this, he has suspended the account idk why you would think he no's more going on his last post, is there something you no that we don't?
When someone even thinks of doing business with someone like DJ, you know something fishy is going on.

I'm glad you stop doing business with him but if would really help if you contacted the FBI about what you know. :)
It would also help if all other users who were scammed etc by DJ contacted the FBI instead of just whining about it. If all of you had reported his crimes he would be in jail by now and this whole thing wouldn't have happened.

about 6 months ago i bought some services from a company that provides internet traffic, a week past after i paid and no response to my emails or phone calls, one day the owner of the company answer and start insulting me and he told me that i got fu**k, and he hung up. i filed the application with http://www.ic3.gov/ and the same day i receive and email back saying they were going to investigate, the ask me for details ( payments, receipts, time, date) on the application, so be ready to provide that. less than 10 past and he gave me my money back and i dont know what else happen to him, i got another email from the ic3 saying that if i were willing to prosecute and i cant tell you more details because the case still open.

people dont understand or they think they can get away with crimes over the internet, saying they have lawyers and with that they can do whatever they want, i dont think so, federal laws are the stronger laws in the usa, by the way file another complaint at https://econsumer.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/, or https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/FTC_Wizard.aspx?Lang=en, because they stole your identity, this is with the federal trade commission.
