Video Hosting !

my blog site is almost done, after the layout is finished it will be done. i just want to add one more feature to it. video blog upload. is it possible to code a video upload script so the blogger's blog videos get uploaded to my hosting, without the scripting costing me like $700. because i was talking to my friend and he said he can do it but it will cost like $700 due to complex coding. he said he would need to code it a special way due to having shared hosting and something about not being able to convert the video upload to flv. can anyone help?

you dont want to host video files... your bandwidth bill will be in the thousands if you get any sort of traffic... and probably before even that point your shared hosting will shut you down fast.

Videos = Expensive

upload them to youtube before posting them on your site...

i can handle the bandwidth, if i even get close to going over my limit ill just upgrade !
