I wish there was a place here where you could call out somebody.
If I had a problem with someone here, I could just post whatever Im feeling and Rant about it or whatever, w/o getting banned or something like that.
Maybe it was just some kind of misunderstanding to begin with and if you bring it out in the open, maybe the parties involved can see how they really feel and just get it out in the open, possibly even working the problem out.
Or maybe if someone gets busted doing something there not supposed to do like STEALING or things like that. It could help out some people to know "hey dont deal with this person, there cons"
Sort of like, with DJ, so people will be aware of him and all his aliases and websites...
-------------------
Well, i think it would be pretty neat to have a forum dedicated to this, so when the forum gets boring and not much is going on, we could head over to this section and see who's beefin with who or got caught STEALING what. as long as it doesent become racist, cussing I think it could be an ok idea..
Come to think of it, what happend to the "vent it out" section? I dont see it, or Im just blind and dont see it.

It would be pretty cool but it would be horrible for the forum. D-R-A-M-A! It would turn into a big arguement. :/

not a good idea, it will lead to a lot of unnecessary drama and bickering. if you don't like someone, just keep it to yourself or write about it in your diary.

thats true but,
I also think it could help out though too just by clearing the air, as long as people don't act stupid and learn how not to cuss every other word when there mad.
If someone puts you on blast, they can say how they feel, and of course you wouldnt want everyone here to think of you as a bad person, con or whatever. So with this you could explain your side of the story and hopefully work things out..
Im usually pretty quiet on here and mind my own business, but tonight the forum has got me hype, lol
Im ready to pop open a 40 and refresh. lol
DRAMA is entertaining!
(as long as it doesn't get out of hand, if it does simply close the thread or delete it, if its too bad.)

Yaah and no...
of course there will be some drama, but if in the end the parties involved worked out there problems, I think it could be a good thing.

I think it should just be vent...
But then again if you want to vent and we don't get that forum then just post in the random discussion
Most people on this forum were older until a lot of younger people came... but I think we should be able to handle NOT getting into drama

I disagree. This is an adult forum, not days of our lives. If you have a problem with someone, PM them. Not everybody is going to get along.

Yeah i agree, we don't need a vent.
People are always slagging off Kville because of the Drama there, so why even ask about a vent? It's just another excuse for drama.

I agree, and I don't think it should be something that causes drama but more of alerting other members about members. It should be moderated with some sort of supported evidence, people can't just falsify claims and allegations. It shouldn't be your place to give your opinion of a person but more of proof of who that person is. Just because you know better than to have any dealings with a person doesn't mean the rest of us do!
I think this forum is really good at spotting new people that are registered to scam or just to get a bunch of stuff out the freebie sections from time to time.
For example, lets say somebody hasn't delivered your purchase that was only $5 worth of content so you're not too concerned about and your trying to resolve it in PM's. Meanwhile that person is collecting money from other people and over a few days has made $75 off MSP members. Everytime I buy from somebody new I feel like I am taking a chance, some of these people have been a member a long time, but not very active, some might have itrade but they was all buying itraders, now they're the seller.
For these matters this gives the person who's being "called out" a chance to defend and explain their actions. I don't think people will abuse it because they'll look worse then the accuse, if you got something that you know is wrong, chances are we're all going to agree. People shouldn't have to worry about bringing such things up. :)

Work it out using PM.
If you can't come to an agreement PM a mod.
I have worked out a few before using this system.
Those type of threads always turn into drama no matter what the intention is.

Just thought I would give it a shot. :)
I guess PM'ing would be the best option, so the forum doesn't get flooded with junk.

Drama is entertaining and even though vent forums don't ALWAYS bring it, sh!t doesn't always have to be dragged out in public. If it's a matter of warning people about stealers, post it in town hall or something. If you're just pissed at another member for saying something, PM them.

its very easy for someone's reputation to get ruined by a simple misunderstanding.
you can call people out if they're found doing something wrong anyway just to warn others, but to bring something out in the open thats between two people just to vent it out kind of creates an unnecessary tension between that person and other people in the forum that it doesn't involve.
Obviously, if i paid you $300 to make graphics for me, and you just didn't send them to me and refused to do so, i'd make a thread regardless of whether there was a particular section to do it in.

Exactly, there is a time and place for these sort of threads.

Moral of the story looks like everybody will be creating a thread when they deem it to be needed regardless of the outcome. Personally attacking somebody is one thing, looking out for fellow forum members is another. Choose your battles wisely and proceed with caution. Other than that, sounds like people standing up for what they believe in whats wrong with that?

This is the one and only thread I have time to respond today, but I thought I'd answer the question.
In short: No.
I agree with the reasoning behind it and believe the intentions of those who support it are good in nature, but regardless of the intention there is only one way any thread within such a forum will end. A flame war will ensue and a mod will be forced to close the thread or delete it from public view entirely.
I've made posts calling people out myself after enough evidence has been brought forth that people should be warned about someone and I have no problem doing it again. If someone - such as DJ - needs to be spoken out against publicly, come to a mod and we'll discuss it with you.

Naaah, I am too old to see the necessity of a call-out board.. :)
