View Full Version : FriendBlaster Tactics and Methods

Greetings Everyone,

I thought I'd start a thread where perhas we can all share some of the methods and tactics we've tried and found most successful for requesting friends using FBP (Friend Blaster Pro). After all, when you're limited to about 400 friend requests per day, you want to make each of them count as much as possible.

A little about me. I've been using FBP for about a year and a half. I have the unlimited version. When I first started using it, it still had the ability to bypass CAPTCHAs, imagine that! :) Well that's a thing of the past now, I think permanently. It was great while it lasted. But you get used to it.

As everyone knows, Myspace now allows you to send a short message along with a friend request. And FBP has an option for entering that message. My question is, when sending completely random friend requests (non target specific), such as when doing a "Browse Friends," what if any messages have you used that seem to improve your request acceptance rate?

I myself have used a message like, "Hey hey! Just stopping in to say hello!"
Although it's not really aimed specifically at the person and really makes no logical sense in a friend request, it just sounds upbeat and positive. Positive enough that some people will feel like adding you.

Sometimes I have gone through and gathered IDs from a band's friend section, let's say someone like Aerosmith as an example. Then when sending friend requests from that list, I'll send a message like, "Add me only if you like Aerosmith." Well we assume they like Aerosmith or they wouldn't have requested to be one of their friends. So if they deny your request, it's sort of like them saying to themselves, "no, I don't like Aerosmith." At least that was supposed to be the psychology behind it. But I've found that this method doesn't seem to work quite as well as I expected, so I've pretty much dropped it.

When I do completely random requests, I feel that an acceptance ratio of about 1:4 would be good and is possible. When I've done target specific request (people who are into the same thing I am) I've gotten acceptance ratios as high as 1:2, and in such case I don't even send a message because they can clearly see by my default pic what my interests are, which is sportbike related. But there are only so many people on Myspace who are into the same thing after you've gone through tens or even hundreds of thousands.

Is there something better? Has anyone else used a particular message with notable success? Would be very curious to know.

I've never used FBP for friend request, more so only for sending comments. Although I've been neglecting my site's myspace friend count now pretty much, what I done for friends was this... I'd wait til bout 2am my time when all the points system resets, visiting all the friend adder sites and adding only the vips. Doing this allowed me to add 10-25 friends on each site and gave me a enough points to be placed at the top of all the regular users of that site. Like I said I'd move on to the next site using about 5 different ones each nite. This way you get far more friend request sent you than you'll ever send out and I don't think they limit how many people send you request. I'm not how well this method still works cause I was doing this about 3 months ago and it worked really well for me.

I have heard of sites like this but haven't really found any. If you could post a link(s) it would be most appreciated. If I may ask, about how many request per day would you get using this method?

Same here. I have it for over 8 months now, the registered version, and I never use it for friend requesting.

I use it only for comments.
