I am possibly going to buy a new laptop computer in the near future. The only bad thing is I will have to buy it from Walmart... not anough cash flow for the really nice ones... oh well! What should I look for in a laptop that will let me know it is a good computer for my money? Keep in mind it will be from Walmart. lol. Any ideas?

Do you hafta get a laptop? Cause you can get a much better desktop for a fraction of the price for a laptop.
But if you insist on getting a laptop, the Wal-Mart ones pretty much have the same specs you'll find at Best Buy or Circuit City just more of a generic brand pc. I would shop around before purchasing from wal-mart because the other high end electronics stores can be pretty competitive because they sell so much more pc's than wal-mart.

Well I got my desktop from Walmart. I'm wanting to get an additional laptop because as we all know it's summer time. I would like to be able to have the option to take my computer with me on vaca, or even if I take my kids out to play. >I always end up sitting on the side lines with the baby while my hubby takes care of the other kids... lol< I just need an idea of what kind of memory and all that I should look for. I will only be using it for my websites. any ideas?

just get something with like 1-2 gigs memory,
should be fine...
Im guessing for around 500 bucks you can get a nice laptop form walmart but I wouldn't have a clue as where I live we don't have that store.

Laptops are cool, if your away from your desktop and you just want to check up on things or feel like browsing the net or for forums or whatever, but thats about it IMO.
I bought one thinking it was going to be the best thing I ever bought, I mean its ok, but If I could turn back time, more than likely I wouldnt of bought it.
Maybe its just me though. :online2long:
I have a little 1 gig, 80 gb hdd, 17 inch moniter and paid around $700 for it, theres deals everywhere, just dont get the "cheapest one"
