It certainly isn't nature either...Nature is weening them off when they are 1-2 years old....

I saw that on Tyra today. Basically, she said it wasn't like sexual pleasure, but just a pleasant feeling. I find it extremely weird to breast feed an 8 year old. I think like they should stop being breast fed when they're 3/4 years old, at the most.

I think you should breat feed til the baby is about 12 months at the most, then put them on normal milk.

All the time a women breast feeds, her body will continue to produce milk :)

I breastfed my baby until she was 3 months... it was too painful I just couldn't keep going even though I wanted to. I would probably do it until the 6 month mark, but, for some reason, I don't find this "disturbing" even though I wouldn't do it...

I think breast feeding a child when they're 2 is fine lol. But when they're 3/4, about to go to pre-k/kindergarten, it should cease.

Well Seth would have been breast fed up until he was 12 months old, but the stupid nurse in the NICU told me I couldn't breast feed him, stupid woman, and by time the doctor got on her about it, he no longer wanted me.

I don't think that this is part of nature. If you look at animals cats, dogs, ect. They never do anything like that. lol

I agree on the abuse part of it though. It could be taken as sexual abuse because that isn't really natural.

It is strange though to see something like that. I think that she is too old. I think she is doing it for all the wrong reasons. It isn't like she is actually getting a complete meal from that (its more like a snack) lol.
