I seen some of the items at last years sale were sold untagged. Is it preferred the sellers tag or not? Also, what is a reasonable amount of time to allow for tagging for an event like this for either buyer or seller?

Tagging is included for my packs. [:
I'll say, give the designer at MOST 24 hours to tag all of the stuff.

tagging.. goddddd... firesale means alot of tagging. I don't know if I even want to do it because the tagging.
thats where designers really lose money is on the time it takes to tag packs.
but if I sell, my packs will all be tagged. I would never sell an untagged pack.
and a quick question..
do I have to post a marketplace thread to seek a tagger?

depends on what the designer promises, and if the buyer is willing to wait that long.. I think 48-72 hours in the case of the fire sale is a good turn-around time.

Well last year, I would charge an extra $1.00 - $2.00 for tagging... This year I'm trying to make up my mind if I'll tag at all lol... depends on my sales..

Heres how I will do it.. If its one of my NEW packs, I will offer tagging, and also on smaller packs of my older sales. But I am planning a HUGE glitter sale that I wont tag unless they plan on paying extra for it, and can wait a few days because of how hectic things will be =) But its pretty much up to the seller :balloon:

I really like to see everyone not sending anything out untagged cause nobody wants to see something they paid for one day offered in a free turnkey script or available for download from a warez site.

I usually don't offer tagging because w/ the program I use, it adds a watermark when I save .gif graphics. I think I might offer it this time around because I recently downloaded a trial of photoshop. But I'm still not sure if I really want to do it, I don't see a lot of tagged things being used on myspace (unless it's a glitter or myspace layout). I probably will do it since this is what most buyers want?

Does anyone use that autotagger? I had the idea of making all my graphics with a bit of transparent space at the bottom for the autotagger to make my owrk butter but I never bought the software. I used the demo and it's not all that bad. Anyone else thinking about using it for the sale?
Oh I suppose I had better find the link for yous that have no clue what I'm talking about... Though I'm sure you do.

The autotagger don't look too bad gonna download it and give it a try. I probably won't be selling probably just buying because of time but this program might come in handy down the road.

I going to have tagging optional because i plan on selling quite a lot of stuff and it really will take a while to tag all so it will be made optional, i think thats best.

its good tagging if you dont want other sites havent the content for free :O
meaning other sites stealing it from sites that bought them...
might as well charge for it then or w.e its up to u ;p

I'd have to agree though -- 90% of all graphics I see on myspace are untagged. I don't think myspace users really like tagged graphics. It's even worse if its done poorly, and not tailored for the graphic itself.
