View Full Version : Viewing Animated GIFs in Vista?

So, one sucky thing I've noticed so far is the whole... Shizzle where you can't view animated gifs in the picture previewer. Does anyone know if there's a simple application that will preview them so I wouldn't have to open up an entirely new program just to see if the items are animated?

It kind of sucks. :?

I hate Vista.

Until there's an application, you can view animated .gif's in IE.... :s

Ah, right. I made their default program firefox.. I guess that works since I have it open frequently. Thanks.

i found that with our other vista pc last summer, really quite annoying. i have to open animation shop to view anything animated

do you mean in just ie or in the computer itself ? =S

right click/open with/browse/....
look for firefox or IE and set it to default for gif's

I am using Irfanview too. Better than the original image view in Xp too.
Can't beat free :)
