Surpass Hosting....

I bought hosting from surpasshosting.com on saturday (2 days ago) and i got 2 emails from them, first was a 'Signup Receipt' second was 'Hosting Payment Invoice'. After the first email and I signed up, I payed $60 using the paypal button on the sign up page. On the sign up email it said "This is not your account information email.

You will receive your account information including username, password, and IP address within 48hours". It has been just over 48hrs and I have had no other email with a username, pw or ip address.

I'm just wondering if they will email me later today (its already 1:10pm here) but my current hosting expires in like 2 days and so I don't want my site to be down too long.

Anyone else had to wait just over 48hrs with surpass? Sorry i'm just slightly panicking plus i have payed $60 to them lol.

When I bought my hosting with connexhosting i got the email with the pw and ip address like 5-10 mins after paying

Yeah I just thought I should contact them. I'm not going to call them but I will email them lol. Hopefully i'll get a reply soonish.

Just wait a little, they always send the notification emails.

They're a good host until you start asking them a lot of questions...after that, they become the host from hell.

It's ok. I emailed them and they refunded my money because I didn't write my address. That is kinda stupid though, why do they do that? I used like N/A for it all except the postcode, email and phone number. Even though I did that with connexhosting and dynadot when I bought my domain...

I don't really wanna write my address though. I either will have to or find another host. lol

Char, most hosts require address. XD

And you had better be careful with dynadot! You might end up losing control of your domain because of no address.

Anyway, whoever uses surpass hosting, how do you renew it? :redface: because connexhosting made a subscription so it automatically renewed it but when i payed surpass it didnt create one...

There's usually a box that you have to check off for that option.

As far as the address, as long as it's not a domain you're signing up for, I doubt your address will show to anyone else but them.

I created a subscription so it would of taken the money that was needed until you cancel it. So all you had to make sure was you had the money in the paypal account.

So does nobody know you renew the hosting? =/ I didn't see a box... lol
