So, I don't know. Everything seems to work well, Much better than my laptop.
I have 4gb ram with Vista and all my applications run faster than on my ^.
Something told me, Like I had a gut feeling that I wouldn't have much trouble with Vista so I would still be left in the dark on what the issues are.
Vista is seriously my new mommy.

I love vista!
Even though a lot of people dislike it because of some bugs it has.
I haven't come across any yet though.

Vista is really pretty. I'm on my second Vista laptop now and haven't experienced any problems. Vista is only annoying for gamers.

I love Vista, only thing I don't like is the windows image previewer doesn't show animated images.

I didn't like it at first but it's sorta grown to me. It suits me well for multi-tasking, at any given time I normally have a ton of windows open and running a few different apps all at once.
I disabled some of the fancy desktop features so everything runs a bit smoother.
Just becareful if you plan on getting a HP printer or scanner, cause HP doesn't give support on some of the HP products on vista.

Yeah gaming with Vista is a nightmare, even if you disable superfetch and indexing ._.

Vista on my laptop is good. Internet surfing, doing school stuff and photoshopping is fast. When it comes to gaming, there is something completely wrong. I run like 17fps on 2gb ram, and my friends are running 45fps on an old computer with 512ram (XP).

No good. :( What a shame. The only game I want to play is fairly new so they've surely optimized it for Vista, if not I'll be dissapointed. The game comes out in November still.

at first I didn't like it that much but it has certainly grown on me since I got used to it. Now I get on a computer that has XP and it's like whoa dude, this computer is tacky.

i have an 8800gtx, it's like an year old now, but still does a good job. yeah company of heroes is the most resource intense game i play, and i get good fps with everything on high :/ and the processor on my computer is ancient. yours is much better... so you should just dish out like 300.00 and get a good vid card for your dumb spores.

With a decent video card 4gb of ram should be enough to game on Vista. A lot of the newer games are off loading more and more of the work onto the video cards ram so go for a 512mb PCI-E card if you can afford it, definitely wouldn't use a graphics card with less then 256mb of ram for newer games even with XP

I do not like vista, it sucks! But… When I install XP I miss the vista look. But what is fine to XP is that it is a fast control system!

I just ran a small program that used 3-d rendering, It was complete crap so I better get a video card soon.

Yeah I expected more BS, but Vista is cool I guess.
Main suckiness is the screen when you install or open something it goes black and then tints back.. I just don't like that, I know it's there for a reason so... Maybe I'll get used to it. // :(
