Well what I'm trying to say is
What do you think of a site called "funkykiss.net"
having guy graphics too? [I.E: Bob marley, Rock & Roll, Guy Graphics?]
What do you recommend if I am gonna do something like this?
should i seperate it like under another heading called "Guy Stuffs"
What do you think?
I don't wanna focus on girly things when I know guys would want stuffs too?
I wanna make it varity but since the name is funkykiss does that give a reason for GUYS not to come to my site ? I need help?

I don't think guys would be appealed to a site called "funkykiss". If you saw the URL/site name you wouldn't think "oh this site must have guys stuff!". You'd think "oh this must be a site with girly stuff!" if ya know what i mean

I say definately put the guy stuff up on your site.
I have several guy friends that could care less about the site name if it has what they want.
and if you don't get that many male visitors, at least have something available for them when they do visit so they will return and maybe pass your link around.
Good luck to ya.

its really hard to have guy stuff when your site is so girly, most guys would just go on it and exit right away because they know just by the layout it wont appeal to them whereas a site like layoutstreet and freeweblayouts are mainly for guys.
I dont think the domain is so bad as opposed to how girly your site actually LOOKS lol =P

lol its defiantly cool to have guy graphics, l dont think the domain sounds bad, its the girlyness of your site that might make guys turn away before giving it a chance and looking around, do u get it? =)

Why would anything be wrong? It's your website and if you want to add content for guys then do it. Don't wait for people's approval, you're the decision maker. :)
I think the domain name doesn't matter much, guys are probably used to all Myspace related sites being a little girly. If it bothers you, you could always make a male section on your site with a less girly layout but I wouldn't worry about it too much.

Also stuff is a plural word meaning it's describing more than one.
That's like saying thems, theres's, everywheres, alls, etc so.. I just had to say something 'cus it's driving me crazy when you write "stuffs" all the time. :)

I agree with Nora... It's your site, put what you want on it...
Put guy stuff on it, and then somewhere put a prominent banner saying something like "Hey guys, guess what!!! We've added a NEW section just for you!!! Check out the awesome layouts and graphics we have for you, the manly MAN!"
Good luck!

I think it depends, if you have "guy" visitors, which many of the girly sites don't, it would be worth it... since the stuff wouldn't get used

My 2 cents is.. I think a resource site shouldn't in most cases be gender specific. I think its to your benefit to offer stuff that appeals to both male and female, young and old. Now if it is going to be just a very small section that almost goes unnoticable then I wouldn't worry about a girly design but if you dont want to be seen as targeting either male or female I would go with a design that is neutral.

^^^ My site name is funkykiss.net and it is kinda like a girly theme.
i was thinking of some guy stuffs just a section, but i might think of something unique.

First, I just wanted to say that I think your site is crazy cute. I totally love the header image!!! <3
I voted yes because it could drive more traffic your way, of course, right? :) But, maybe one way you could lure guys to your site and keep them there, is to have your guy's section up top, right below the navigations header. That way it would be one of the first categories they see, and the girls would know to keep on looking down for their stuff because of how pretty your site is - I think that would make guys want to hang out.
Still totally jealous of your header img haha. <3

If the site if very girly looking, you know pinks and hearts etc it's hard to attract the guys into the site.

I don't think it matters so much on the name of your site, but prehaps the look of it, if your site is extremely girly looking I doubt many guys will swallow the pride to browse thru it. Other than that I think you should appeal the largest variety of visitors possible for true success.

and it depends how guyish ur male content will be, it is isn't guyish enough, girls will end up using them. like how women can wear both skirts and pants but guys only wear the pants.

What if i made a subdomain
mixed.funkykiss.net
OR
funkykiss.net/mixed
& that part of the site will have mixed contents.
meaning something guyish stuffs that even girls can use?
will that be good?
the layout will be a guyish layout or kinda like a unisex kind.
but it was at a sub-domain.
the link that will be on the credits would be.
Just the name mixed lays
Ask your brother would he still check it out?

more content = more pages for search engines to index. if you do it right those extra pages will help you get more traffic both guys and girls.

Perhaps you could have a subdomain for the guys stuff. That way you could have a more guy-friendly site layout and they wouldn't feel intimidated going to your site.
