A coworker sent me a friend request.I went to her page.It's this solid pink color.There are no ways of contacting her.The page is blank.So I asked her if she was having layout problems.Maybe I could help.She told me that she has her page set that way for spam and privacy reasons.

She doesn't want even her real life friends to contact her first.She wants to be the first to contact them.Then they can respond to her thru the message from their inbox.

I just found it to be really extreme.I guess she's super paranoid about spam and privacy.

Weird, she doesn't realize that usually spam messages people through friendID numbers and not manually clicking the links to message people... You should remind her. But idk, That's crazy. Tell her about Private Profiles? It's not even understandable to me... I guess if someone has something really important to tell her they can call her.

I don't know anyone who does that but I've noticed a lot of visitors coming to my site by searching something like "change myspace all one color" =\
I even had a user suggest a layout: "a black default layout like alll black even the main page"

I have 340 friends, I'd say... more than 100 of them do that lol

Loads of people hide everything but have just like links to add, msg, friends etc.

I hid mostly everything on mine but I left the block as a link. But if people don't have that and don't hide the shortcuts, you can block people using that unless they hide that too.

exactly. all you need to do is copy the link for commenting/messaging/blocking someone else, then edit the friend ID.
