Personally, I don't trust the smaller, not so heard of hosting companies. I prefer to go for the well known companies that have amazing reputation.

actually they are not a smaller company, although with some much competition they are no longer at the top, for awhile they were one of the top hosting companies because of their cheaper rates. Anyway I did have them as my host at one time but I did not have a good experience with them as far as customer service, their packages are good if you are now starting off and with few sites, try googling for term "best hosting companies" etc. gl
