So we have such a short amount of time until we all go out and vote who should be America's next president.
For those who dislike either, Will you even be voting?
Coming from people from another Country does this election matter to you?

I don't like either, I don't know who I will be voting for, but I will be voting because if I don't I won't have a right to complain. (Just being honest)

Yes, I know who I am voting for.
If I didn't like either I would try my best to find an ounce of good in one of the candidates. Even if I disliked both candidates, I believe I would vote because once upon a time, Blacks NOR women were able to vote and I feel as though since my ancestors fought for it, I should use this right.

To me, it doesn't matter who you vote for, they both carry the same agenda.. That being said, I will probably vote for McCain.. He appears to be the lessor of two evils.
If you want to save the world, just pencil my name in....

Exactly what I was thinking.... the whole voting process is to make you think you actually have a voice on who becomes president... :hammer:

Everythings a conspiracy, If you don't believe in the voting system then don't vote :)
Scratch that, Vote even if you don't believe in it because you never know if one day your conspiracy is proven wrong.

Well that's not my problem, 300 years ago women couldn't vote.
And it really is your guys' conspiracy if you believe in it, Doesn't matter if you're the one who made it up or not.. Not sure why you're even debating about that.
Enjoy not voting, But also enjoy not debating about who the horrible president is this time. You won't even have a say in it since you didn't bother to vote, and if you don't believe the voting system is real/legit then protest it.

Again, it is not my conspiracy.... I won't debate anything because it's pointless. You'll have your opinion and I have my facts, no matter how I say it, you will still believe in what you believe. There's no POINT. People can't see any further than their backyard when it comes to subjects like these, and I for sure can't debate with that lol.
So like you said, I will enjoy not debating about who the horrible president is, because no matter who wins they'll be just as bad. :pinch:

Are you aware Bush lost both elections? First one by more than half a million people. Second one, the day Kerry won, he conceded. Funny isn't it? Now tell me you still have a choice.

Yes I have a choice. The Electoral Vote has been in place since our founding fathers and we dont change the way it works just cause your boy didnt win. There have been suggestions on changing things within the system but it always goes away once the election is over.
Major proposals debated for change in the electoral college have been: (1) substitution of direct popular vote for the president; (2) choice of electors by districts; (3) elimination of electors as individuals, but retention of the electoral college principle, perhaps with an arrangement to distribute a state's votes in proportion to voter support of candidates. Many fear that any change would threaten the two-party system.
The appeal of a popular election is checked by the practical difficulty of achieving it by constitutional amendment. Members of Congress and state legislators from small states usually favor retention of the electoral college, reasoning that the college, which includes two votes for each state's two senators, tends to increase the relative weight of the small states.
The district proposal is based on recognition of geographical divisions within a state. It would also reduce the political dominance of the large industrial states by splitting their electoral votes between the candidates. This proposal has been objected to, however, as a crude substitute for more accurate apportionment.
Distribution of electoral votes in proportion to voter support of candidates has occasioned the sharpest controversy. It would eliminate many present inequities of the all-or-none allocation of at-large electoral votes, but it might weaken the two-party system. Candidates of minor parties having no chance to win a state's votes under the all-or-nothing principle might enter the race to win fractions of the apportioned vote.
How the Electoral works.

In 2000 Bush won the electoral but lost the popular vote. Its not the 1st time its ever happened. Rutherford B. Hayes (in 1876), Benjamin Harrison (in 1888) John Quincy Adams also received fewer popular votes than did his opponent, Andrew Jackson, in the election of 1824, but his election was decided by the House of Representatives because Jackson failed to win a majority of electoral college votes.
