I Love Photoshop!!!

I don't know if this is the place to post this but I am in LOVE with Photoshop CS3. Just installed it today.

As you guys know, I'm an amateur hobbyist trying to learn graphic design. My software progression has been CorelDraw 8, 11, X3, Fireworks MX and now I graduated to Adobe CS3 (master package) thanks to my mom... love you mom!

I love it, love it, love it!!!! OMG I can't wait to learn everything about it. The flexibility and ease is phenomenal...

Okay... I'm done with my rant - but I just had to tell someone.

Photoshop does many amazing things.
I'm stuck with CS2. It's ok for me.

Photoshop is really amazing.. you have the master collection right? If so, try out Illustrator.. its even more addictive than Photoshop :D

Yeah PS CS3 is good! I've just like suddenly become a pro using it, like I know how to do lots of stuff than I did ages ago..

I have Photoshop CS3 extended and love it. I still use my older versions of Photoshop from time to time when making brush sets. I love the Illustrator CS3 too. I spend hours playing with Illustrator.

i've been meaning to switch over to using photoshop more, but im just so fast and so fluent in paint shop pro, i just can't imagine switching over.

someday i'll get out of graphics cave and join the real world hahahaa.
and as if its not sad enough, i use paint shop pro 8! 88888!!!! hahaha thats so old. but i just love it.

never get out of graphic design! It is the only thing out of the web niches that takes true talent! That and SEO, but graphic design is art. Art is life. SEO is just money and the promotion of art. Advertising is the monetization of the traffic which views the art. It all revolves around the art.


ok, maybe hardcore coding in php and some other languages takes true talent as well.

i'm a stay at home mom. used to have a job in the "real world". i hated it. climbed as far as i could go without owning the company... i wouldn't trade this for anything.

i get to play around on my computer and create things. sign my name to it and send it off to the abyss of the world wide web. i'm having the time of my life.

and i still love photoshop! i'm having so much fun with it - not sure if i'm brave enough to try illustrator. my family might disown me for neglecting them.

I understand what you're saying. I don't have to deal with my mom. I'm married with a kid. 13 years now. I have several web sites. Plus ebay businesses and other online things that I do. My computer is my money maker. I've made a lot of money in the "real world" but money can't buy the happiness that i have now.

I have a home gym so I workout at home. I can travel whenever I want. And if I don't feel like working, just don't turn on my computer that day, LOL...

And now that I have photoshop I can make a graphic in minutes.... I'm lovin it!!!

... I use CS3 and it really made my graphics look like 1,000,000,000% better!
look around at some tutorials and you will be amazed what you can create, so simply with photoshop.

I recently found a few good sites with some very simple tutorials, if you/anybody want the links PM me. I dont want to post links in this thread..
