Quicker way to log in?

Can you make the log in quicker than what it normally is? Meaning removing redirecting.

Make it once you put your log in name and password and submit, I'm already on the index. You have it set up like this for logging out but not for logging in.

That is an annoying but necessary function of vBulletin and to my knowledge there's no easy way around it.
