Ok so my daughter and I are new to this. We currently get under 200 hits a day and we need a little help. Tell us what you all think and what can we do to improve.

Hey and welcome.
I would first, besides making your site as amazing as possible:
1) Open up a Myspace solely for that site.
--Send out Bulletins with news and updates
--Advertise awesome Graphics with codes and links to your site
--Add tons of friends from all over the place and send out comments ;)
2) Check out the Affiliate Exchange here & trade links with people
3) Check out the Text Links in the Marketplace and get as many as you can afford!
4) Update your site daily with hott new stuff to keep visitors coming back for more.
5) Do it the old fashion way; plug your button on plugsites and other plugboards on other websites :)
Good luck!

• Update as much as you can, visitors tend to come back to see your new stuff.
• Sign tagboard, join forums, add random people to myspace.
• Sign up for affiliates / link exchange.
• Buy advertising from popular sites. {Some sites charge as little as $5 a month}.

Cute site, however the left navigation is doing funny things in my firefox. Its overlapping ads etc. I agree with the previously mentioned advertising suggestions.
Good Luck to you & your daughter!!!

The golden rule of them all IMO: provide quality content. Don't offer things that you would not want to use yourself, you know?
Everyone else basically listed suggestions to get your site out there, so just listen to what they said and your hits will increase in due time =]. Good luck!

Looks really nice! The Updates Box is a little off in Mozilla Firefox but other than that it looks great!
