Help a beginner

Okay, so I just signed up my myspace profile. I typed in my bio, some personal comments no problem. I was also able to upload a song when I click on my profile page. So far so good. Then I see other myspace profiles and they look really good. Some have video clips uploaded others have fancy backgrounds.

I know I must use HTML. But its not good enough to tell me what the HTML is. I need to know EXACTLY where to cut an paste the html. Say I want a blue background with my photo in the middle. How do I do that.

I'd say use a layout from a site. Making your own layout with a blue background and your picture is easy, but hard if you don't know CSS/HTML.
