Server upgrades and maintenance

Some time today SoftLayer will be performing upgrades and installations of/for php, mysql, imagemagik, ffmpeg and their dependencies. It should not cause any downtime, but it is a possibility.


Please also note that there is scheduled maintenance for:
Date: Monday April 14th 2008 (4/14/2008)
Start time (CST): 3:00am CDT
End time (CST): 5:00am CDT
Duration: 15 minutes

Just curious, but has anyone experienced any issues while they're upgrading? Time outs or connection resets? They've been going about it for the past 3 hours or so.

Just last week I believe the servers were down for 30 minutes. One of their older supervisor engines failed I believe, so they replaced it with a temporary one. Now, it looks like they're buying a whole new one.

Server timed out for about 5 minutes on my end 2 hours ago.
