I hope they change the layout..
I have a lot of respect for those who're tying to make something out of it but if this is where they're heading I think its just a waste or time and money. :S

I think "the ship has sailed" when it comes to launching social networks, there are too many already.
That being said, it looks like a corporate dating site. Meh.

They've got some genuinely neat features, I'll say that much. I think the home page of the site is among the most useful I have ever seen.
That said, I don't like the look of the site at all. Why they abandoned the theme of the old site and went with the pre-1999 corporate feel is beyond me. I also don't agree with the logic behind having people pay for features they get free everywhere else or that I have to sign up to do standard things like watch a video or listen to a song let alone view a profile...
The features seem to be there though, and AOL proved a long time ago it doesn't have to be pretty to be popular. A sentiment MySpace has shown is still relevant.

Saying it isnt even in Beta yet it looks as though it is far far more advanced and further along then what the other site looks like.
As far as the paid features part I think you get all those features but are limited to the basics but you can have more of the same for a price. Im not sure exactly but thats the way it looks.
Still better then the other site but they are still working on it so I guess we will just wait and see.

I agree with whomever said it looked corporate. Nice template but looks very business-like.
