Buttons/Pins .. What do you think?

I am making a set of button/pin look graphics. 1 set is 80's sayings & the other retro tattoos (more in the works). Tell me what you think. I am going to change the look of the font on the Frankie one. Do you think you would buy something like this? I have asked people and they said they would post them on their profiles. What does it look like with a white background?...or transparent?

They look nice... I love the idea of the retro tats! definately with a transparent background though :)

They look really cute! Original graphics are always a hit.

I especially like the first one with the bird.
On the second one, I'd use Lokas to add a text effect.
But it looks great, all on it's own right now.
If you want to add a glossy effect, that's totally up to you.

I've been making buttons for some time now. They don't seem to be more popular than other types of graphics on my site. They're about the same.
