View Full Version : Domain forwarding...?

Okay well I just bought the domain http://www.melissareich.com and it goes straight to http://www.charmroyal.com (my main active site)

Actually I just changed the settings so it goes directly to my sites shop (http://www.charmroyal.com/shop).

Is this bad for SEO? I'm not going to develop the new domain I just bought, I just wanted it for keeps, so it's not going to have anything on it...

This may seem like a stupid question but please answer!

I'm not sure, but I just wanted to let you know that that site doesn't forward or redirect to charmroyal for me. :P

Do a 301 redirect - whatever terms you have on your melissa site should switch over to charmroyal....however you may lose some positioning on the melissa terms in seo.

The melissa domain won't be anything though, I'm not ranking anything for it

?

EDIT: Nevermind I'm just going to do this: http://www.sedo.com/
Is that a good idea?
