I've been thinking about selling my domain glitters.ws. I've only sold a domain once and that was the whole site so I'm not sure what its worth. Oh and its only about 5 months old.

I've tried a bunch of free sites and they all say some ridiculous amount.

I'm guessing its only worth around $10-$15?

Well, it is a nice, short keyword, especially since it would definitely be used for some sort of glitter graphic or graphic site. A nice, one word domain like that could go for a little more then $10-15, I'd say.

Although, I think it's also very important for someone to be really interested in it. People get a set amount stuck in their head and then bam, that's how much it's worth. I once registered Spyder3.com, a few months before the Spiderman 3 movie was coming out. I had ideas to get SE hits from when the movie was released. Low and behold, I never did anything with the domain. 6 months later, some random guy emailed me and asked if it was for sale. He'd pay up to $200, no more. Haha. So I said sure, whatever, and made $200 - $6 registration, $194 in 6 months for just buying a domain, that someone ended up wanting.

I guess what I'm saying is that if you find the right buyer, anything is possible. Just get the word out you're selling it. Maybe put it on a domain auction site. You may be surpirsed how much you could get for it.

Best of luck. :)
