What kind of server you running?

I have an age-old file hosting site that has utilizes about ~2100gb/month. It's not up there with the other file hosting sites, but with that amount of traffic of large file transfers, I have to purchase several dedicated servers to balance out the bandwidth and traffic load.

Anyone here using big amounts of bandwidth? How much do you pay each month for it?

I haven't even opened a layouts section and bandwidth prices are making a hole in my pockets. I am interested in the new layouts script that just came out but don't want to even imagine the amount of bandwidth I would need to add to my account for it

I have 1500 gb on the dedicated server and it will eventually run out. It's my partner's server and he pays $279 a month for it. That's when you need to balance loads I suppose but am not at that level yet.

The problem with some of these high bandwidth deals is that bandwidth isn't the only factor in a site's efficiency when there are large number of visitors, and you end up needing to upgrade for other reasons.

I used over 30,000 GB last month just on 1 server. Ouch on that server Bill...
