Dropped from google

HEy guys google droped me from a very big keyword girly myspace layouts i was ranging between spot 2 and 3. And about a month ago they removed me from the rankings. Can that be because i redesigned my websites and all my .html pages became layouts/ instead of layouts.html and might of lost rankings because of that ?

have a look at google webmaster tools see what they say about your site.

you may have another problem.

they could just be re indexing your pages and you will get re ranked aswell.

i checked no errors of any kind.... but i looked at Top search queries
The top 20 queries in which your site appeared, and the percentage of the top 20 queries represented by each search.
it shows some crazy stuff porn and cracks streams..... never had any files like that.

looks like when i moved to a new dedicated server my site was hacked, i see many weird files in every subdirectory

Work with your host to take care of the hacking problem first.

Then make sure you 301 redirect old pages to corresponding new pages.

I click on your sig link to go to your page and it redirected me too this url after your page loaded. Think the paypopup ad is killin it.

How long did you have the keywords before they dropped you?

I had my keywords there for a while i ranked for that keyword for 2 years now i was just on spot 8 before , and in january i spent a good amout of money on links one way and got to spot 2.

Google has been acting very strange lately. I think they're revising their algorithm. My SERPs change hourly, depending on the server i'm on and country source.

Just wait it out. If your site is banned then thats another problem...

I was ranking positions 1-3 for that term awhile ago then got dropped also. :( I dont know why, maybe coz I had too many link exchanges with that keyword.

You shouldn't change winning combination!!!! Google is very sensitive, and many seo expert left old pages, ieven if they redesign websites. Also many of them, do not redesign website, while it is ranked good, even if their design look old, but they know, if they change layout or anything, their ranking may be dropped, and they knowhow hard was to get on that position.

Anyway, if it is not too late, try to use 301 redirection, from your old pages, maybe you willsee some results, but for sure you will not be in first few possition.
Another reason might be because other sites pointed to your html page, and still, but your url is now different.
