That's your decline, quite a few people are owning this market with increased traffic.

I don't understand. Traffic stats for an unknown site doesn't really explain much. Just because a site is dropping doesn't mean a market is dying.

Its not my decline, its a site i came across that was once one of the big players. I should of said that.

Oh, well what about the other people like hot-lyts? :-/ I think people are getting bored/used to the generic myspace sites so they're trying other things out.

there are definitely a lot of bigger sites that are dipping a bit, theres a lot of competition... sure there are going to be declines as more competitors enter the market... market share that was once divided by X is now divided by X * 1000...
it's really trying to grow myspace sites now isn't what it used to be.. used to be easy as hell, now its stalled out quite a bit... even good sites with great content, tons of content, tons of users are pretty stalled out at this point

"Not as big anymore" players would be the proper way to put it.
Myspace has a gazillion users online at every minute of the day, and more and more with each minute that passes.

There's plently of myspace sites with traffic that's been increasing. Like Andrew2 said, they're probably getting bored of the generic myspace sites.

My traffic has decreased.
But then again, I have not been buying text links for advertising, and I have not been doing such a great job on my behalf promoting either. Via myspace or anything lately. Or updating daily like I used to.
I need to step up my game & get my site back to its usual stats.

In general, looking at barcode's monthly rankings... the majority of sites are losing traffic, but you can still make decent money if you stick around.

So basically you didn't market your site and make changes fast enough so you lost a ton of users? Things like that happen.

I dont even make money from my sites.
Google always bans me once I reach $100.
But thankfully due to all you sweethearts here, I make money.
This is (sadly but truly) my best source of extra income right now;
custom jobs, graphic & web design, etc.

Jazzy if you have been banned more than once then you are definately doing something you shouldn't be. You need to take a hard look at the other advertising networks you use and then take a good look at your site.

Accumulate $100 quickly and watch if they still ban you....

Google bans for specific reasons. You aren't doing something legit with your site.
Also, that one site doesn't speak for the whole niche. I'm personally increasing daily, pure seo though. Myspace can ban me right now and it won't even phase me, im over 90% search engine traffic.

Overall MySpace has declined a bit, but NOTHING like you're showing there. In most cases traffic increased for my sites...
... there is still plenty of traffic. The large sites get bigger and the small sites... well they get smaller.

you're right on the money. also, a lot of large sites fall, due to neglect and slow load times. with proper maintenance you can still sustain your level of traffic.

You've just know realized this? Myspace resource sites have been dead since Fall 2007 when everyone started loosing YPN. All the "huge sites" are loosing traffic and don't make jack with Adsense and the new ad formats (25% lower CTR). CPM doesn't pay that well either.
Myspace resource sites are dead, move on - kids...

Myspace.com, itself, is not declining at all. Though it only grew 4% from last year. I agree the reason for their decrease in traffic is the amount of competition entering the market. Two years ago, I didn't have to work nearly as hard to gain traffic as I am now.
