To try to make money online through advertising?
I've tried with Adsense but I'm not getting accepted.
Valueclick isn't accepting me either.
What are some others?/

You can check into AdBrite, CJ, Azoogle, or Maxbounty. Not as profitable, but easier to get into.

abrite is great if you have a lot of pageviews... and there is no trouble getting into their program. they pay on time too by cheque (no paypal yet or ever), so they are reliable.

Beware of Zango unless they've cleaned up their virus/spyware junk.

Not really, they are still distributing spyware and adware. They were causing big problems on facebook just a few weeks ago because of the "secret crush" application that was using zango. 2 million+ facebook users were infected by Zango.
Search Google for facebook secret crush and get the story.
Of course, Zango isn't going to admit it is spyware, but here is a statement that they admit too.
"Zango says it is comfortable with its software being called "adware" if the term is accepted to mean software installed with the user's consent. "Spyware implies without consent"
you say potato I say potato.

I've never been a fan of networks other than Adsense and VC.. I think Bidvertiser and Adbrite advertise sites that are extremely low quality so they make a site that displays them look spammy.
Why don't you try selling links instead? Maybe not having ads will increase the number of visitors so you'll get to charge more for links.. you'll probably earn more that way than by putting other ads online. Once you have a lot more visitors (assuming that was the reason you didn't get into VC) you can always sign up for it again :)

well, before a user installs the software they are prompted if they want or not, they have the chance not to install the software if they dont want to.
spyware, is installed without your consent. adware you are aware that you are installing a software.. there is a difference.
second, many of you guys promote stuff like cursormania, zwinkies, screensavers, webfetti and stuff like that. zango its like one of those affiliate programs....
have you downloaded the zango application? have you downloaded the cursormania or smilies application? thay are practically the same.
plus if zango was spyware, networks like cpxinteractive, valueclickmedia and others wouldnt allow them to advertise on their networks..
well that what I think at least ;) I know they had a bad reputation, but its not like that anymore.

If you're not getting accepted into adsense you're going to have BIG problems getting into other advertisers. Check the site in my link for some good ones...
