Well starting site network based on a baboon mascot.

What do you think about the pre-logo mascot?

lol thats because the toon is based off the mandrill baboon.

Should remind everyone of a baboon they've seen on discovery channel, animal planet, the lion king :)

Heres a few mockups of the logo now. Was thinking maybe taking the last one and adding the stars from the other one. Let me know your thoughts for the best arrangement.:

psychotic baboons aren't usually Angelina Jolie's lol

Toon logos rake in the big bucks with myspace traffic :)

I agree mate. Stuff like this has super pull because its so much more branded/unique than the average myspace site.

Hey,

Awesome work in my opinion :)

I say third from bottom is the best arrangement .. possibly with stars? But as is its very good.

It isnt ugly either, maybe because its very large here that doesnt help but for a logo its brilliant.

I think that is part of my myspace sites success, I had my artist brother open flash and he drawed me a nice mascot/logo. The site took off like crazy.

branding is the way to go in my opinion.

Pretty nice. Ultimate way of branding though would be to envelop both the mascot and logo together.
