Making Revenue off Parked Domains?

I read something about this on Digital Point and being a total noob to stuff like this, i was wondering if anyone could explain the concept to me? :P

How do you park a domain and how would it generate revenue for you? ^_^

if you had a really good domain name such as cars.com, it will receive hits just from people typing that in their browser. The parked domains have ads on them relevant to your domain name.

is where u can park domains and make some $$$

their are billions of other parking sites out their.

namepros.com has a huge list.

you will need to be actually getting traffic to them to make any thing but,

stuff like mobilephones.com ect ect all make 1000s a day just off organic type ins.
