For those asking, when you login to your AdSense account you're presented with the new TOS page. I thought it was a page letting me know I was banned.

I just got it, even though I use a google account with my adsense. I'm wondering why .... I think it's because I log in with my google user name sans "@gmail.com". Try loggin in with just your user name, and see if you get it.

I didn't see anything when I logged in..

If they ask you to change your login name to a Google account then its normal and nothing to worry about :)

What exactly are the new terms? Is it just the Google account thing?
Over at DP I read something about them having the right to ban you if you don't generate enough clicks/impressions but I thought that was already in the terms for a while..

Is anyone who had to do this thing getting a bug with adsense? It logs in fine, but as usual it times out after some amount of minutes. When I hit refresh it goes back to the login screen like it usually does. But now it continuously tries to log itself in for me, constantly refreshing and never succeeding.

Is anyone else having that problem?

We've also added some specific requirements that make it necessary for publishers to post and abide by a transparent privacy policy that users see. According to this policy, publishers must notify their users of the use of cookies and/or web beacons to collect data in the ad serving process.

In other words:
You'll have to notify your users, they're being tracked for ad serving purposes, and the use of cookies in this process.

I started to read it and got really bored, so I copied it for later when i need something to put me to sleep. Then Firefox wouldn't send the form or whatever and it kept reloading. Jeez, it was like 2 minutes of panic before I got past the new TOS barrier and could see my stats in windows. OT, but firefox continues to flake out on little things like that. It doesn't open the confirmation for deleting things in wordpress now.

I'm still having those weird issues. Not only am I having login problems, but I actually realized about four hours ago I'm probably not being brought to the same page as you. Four hours ago is when I was first brought to a TOS page. The other times, it's brought me to a page asking me if I have a google account. (Yes I do, and my email address is a gmail account!!)

Are we obliged to have a privacy policy in our site???

That's right:

You must have and abide by an appropriate privacy policy that clearly discloses that third parties may be placing and reading cookies on your users’ browser, or using web beacons to collect information, in the course of ads being served on your website. Your privacy policy should also include information about user options for cookie management.
