http://www.ourspacer.com/****-stumbleupon-cards/
OK, I'm not looking for opinions on whether the page should even exist, or whether it counts as spam. I certainly didn't expect this page to get as much traffic as it did. I just wanted to make a point.
I'm wondering, does this page comply with google's rules for placing ads? I'm wondering because, well, it's getting crazy amounts of traffic, and I'd like to cash in on that.

Technically, no. Not enough content. But people break their TOS a lot and get away with it, and they've demonstrated that they don't even understand their own TOS from time to time.
Also, you're technically supposed to have at least one link that goes to an external site on the page.
What you could do if you wanna do something beneficial with the page is do what the stumble card people do and put invisible links on the page.

download the adsense preview tool and you will find they would probably block ads to that page. The msg I get with the tool is that the page contains sensitive content and that ads may be filtered.

What if I put the shell of my page around it? Like the home page, http://www.ourspacer.com ? (http://www.ourspacer.com) That's actually what I want to do.

Yea, try second, third-tier companies, the one's that don't mind their ads going on torrent sites.
What I would probably do is say, "If you want to see the TOTAL elimination of stumble cards go here," and then have a little page that's content rich where you can go to town with ads.
Hmm, maybe I'll do that. This could actually be a sub-niche. Enough people hate those cards, haha.

It's not allowed, too little content.
Even if you add more content it will fall under their pages made for adsense rules..

The idea is to make people thumb it up because of how anti-spam it is. Don't think adding AFF is going to help in that cause. Maybe you were being sarcastic, hard to tell...

Yea I wouldn't add AFF anyway ROFL
I was just hoping to cash in on the traffic :smartass: I'm not a member of any of these other other ad programs. Just adsense and widgetbucks.

Is there any discernible demographic that an identifiable portion of your traffic could be pigeonholed into?
If they are arriving through search strings that include the word "****", then your best hope of cashing in on the traffic is to run ads for AFF or T-Shirt Hell.

How did this go since you added the shell of your page around it? Did it affect the number of thumbs up and stumbles the page is getting?

I'm not sure, because I can't figure out how to check just thumb ups/thumb downs without reviews. I do know that the number of thumb down with reviews went up.
I did take the ads off that page, and only left my link trades and the rest of the shell up. I didn't want to get banned by adsense especially since I've made more this monthe than any other month.
