my question is how do I get a image next to my site in google search?

I think its a little unfair if some sites are aloud things then others are not.

If you look at the URL of the pic its a url for a google thumbnail, maybe he has some videos uploaded to his site via google video and google is pulling it from there..
just guessing, Im not sure.

So you think the algo is that easy to manipulate? Wouldn't that be too good to be true? What about all the other videos with millions of views that don't show up in the SERPS for any high volume keywords (even though the title of the video is well optimized) ...Maybe once you go over a certain number, like 5 million views, you're a lock to appear in the SERPS.

But Google also puts vids in the SERPS with only a few hundred views (usually the title tags are matching the keyword). But you can also find youtube vids with good title tags and millions of views that Google just chooses to ignore.

Weird.. I don't think people will ever be able to customize those though. Google probably picks them from the site. It could be an artists only thing (I assume he/she is an artist)
