Hi,

Was wondering if you guys know if there are free SERP tools there (or at least affordable ones) wherein I can track keywords that I was ranked for in search engines daily / weekly / monthly... Unfortunately, I tried some tools but their results are not accurate, and they don't track it on a regular basis. You still have to enter the keywords manually and on a one time basis.

Would appreciate your help!

WebPosition 4 allows you to:

1. Report your search engine rankings
2. Target your keywords
3. Optimize pages using built-in expertise
4. Submit URLs to search engines
5. Analyze conversions using WebTrends*

hmm, im a seo noob, but regarding feature #4, I thought it's not recommended that you submit to search engines, and to let them find you through links on other pages and such? correct me if I am wrong.

Submitting to search engines is a waste of time. Web Position 4 lets you track rankings over time, so if you're like, where was this site on March 12, you can see it. That's it's main useful feature.

I heard it has problems with how accurate it is. That's the only reason I've never tried it instead of Wordtracker. Wordze has a nice affiliate program also. That's why every blogger in the universe seemed to plug it crazily a few weeks ago.
