GIMP - free graphic program

GIMP is a free serious graphic program which resembles to Photoshop by features. You can download it from Gimp.org (http://gimp.org).

It runs under Windows and Linux (MAC also I think). You have to install it, instructions are on a home page. Many tutorials are there also.

It's good for free but the compression and overall results of images suck compared to photoshop
