$40 Contest for Gaming Site Header

Hey everyone.. I'm looking for a gaming site header. The site will be similar to gamespot.com (no, people don't go there to play games, it will be more of a community site with a forum, reviews, ect).

The site is sopwnd.com

I'm looking for something that stands out.. maybe a bashed up face or something in the text of so and pwnd. Be creative..

If you know me, all my sites are girly.. This site isn't going to be.. so I don't think I could come up with a design myself for it.

I want something nice.. and perhaps brandable in the long run. Basically, I need a logo, and that logo put into an awesome looking header.

What I would prefer is a copy of the logo, and a copy of the finished header if your entry is selected. Also, the .psd files as well for future changes.

I'm not looking for a specific size, but I'd rather the header not be too large. Most gaming sites dont have huge headers. lol.

Contest ends when I find what I need.

Dark colors are prefered.

Something along the lines of:

http://www.badassbuddy.com/ .. perhaps create a header for my site that incorporates a smashed up face (or smiley) in place of the little dude, or a little dude that looks a cocky like the original in the header.

Possibly room for an ad (leaderboard or 468x60?) if it looks good, if not leave it out

There won't be a search bar in the header either.

well i tried a logo, don`t have any ideas for a header yet. What kind of site is it going to be ? pc games or console?

I definately want some sort of image between so and pwnd now, since I have an idea of what it may look like.

The colors you used are nice as well, but that color scheme (blue gold) is everywhere.. just look at the forum. lol. I don't have anything against it.. I just see it everywhere. :)

The site is going to cover all consoles as well as pc games.. I still havnt decided on a script..
the script i was trying out on the site look easily customizable though..

Hey glitter girl. I just opened your entry. It's nice.. only I don't really like the golf balls behind the guns.. and the smiley doesn't fit what i was looking for.. its smiling lol. The bg and color scheme is great.. I love the bg, I just don't like the purple.

The contest ends when I find exactly what I'm looking for.

Does anyone think that $40 is too low for a header contest like this?

lol.. hmm.. i like guns :D and the smiley of course.. maybe a clean web 2.0 ish look for the logo part, and a nice background, and images to the right like on the default header of the script im using.
