To catch thieves: LALING & Precious

I was tipped off today that this little warez forum had MSRS v1.5 posted on some file sharing site. The individual who posted it was an admin there and there email address is xlovergirl@gmail.com which also happens to be email address that LALING (http://www.myspacepros.com/forum/member.php?u=729)registered with (who was banned a couple months ago and does not have owners forum access). She was also giving away Chris's flash generators as well.

I'm tired of thief's. With a few minutes I was able to track down exactly who this person is. This information was freely available using Google and GoDaddy:

2.0 will go back to being encoded. Well, the admin section of the site will be encoded - you'll still be able to do anything you want to the front end of the site (100% source there).

This is a perfect example of why it's important to encode software.

I just happen to be able to provide proof. Without proof I can't go running around banning someone. There was an instance on this forum where 5 different people got together and said a person here did something and after some digging I found out that they were literally making it all up.

It's a tough position to be in. It's never a question of who do I believe, because so far I've been right. It's a question of providing proof and beyond people backing up other stories, there are few times where I'm given the kind of proof I need to ban someone.

I recommend demanding payment upfront to be honest, I was ripped off by DJ twice under two different usernames HERE - why wasn't he IP banned? He probably owes me all up around $500, and owes Monica quite a lot I think too as well as a few other people.

I'm not surprised at all, Precious's 99.9% off sales just screamed 'SCAMMER'. I thought she would have been banned before now, the fact that she wasn't previously when everyone knew she was selling others' graphics is pretty bad...

Oh, and I don't think Barbilee actually has anything to do with this, she just wanted to have her 'opininon' because everyone is out to get her :)

dont have to imagine. i had to remove extra coding, fix coding, remove back links from her site and other sites, and fix lots of images. and then reupload them all. i feel your pain.

yah well what i did is i got tired of this editing and hired marshall to modify my script and now it ignores link backs on layouts.

I do hope this kind of people don't show up on this forum not only has she sold stolen content. but taking peoples money and never give them back, it would drive me crazy if i payed her 500 bucks and then she just bailed, thats 1000000 times worse than seeing a stolen layout on a diff site.

it was like a mixture of packs. all with her face on the thumbs as well. jason and i spent lots of time putting my face in place of it. lol. and fixing coding. it was all just a real disappointment.

we should have an msp graveyard, not just for threads, but for "respected" msp members gone bad. im not talking about members gone bad, im talking members that we kinda, sorta, maybe trusted that went bad. put them to rest, and never speak of them again. LOL

One thing any MSRS owner should note is that the URLs to the pictures point to her photobucket account or to some other external source. If her account were to go down, all the layouts would be broken. In addition, if you're using MSRS, you shouldn't even be specifying the URLs to the pictures. So MSRS owners should not be using her css as is.

yes this is one of those editing functions performed. when i got them they were supposed to be msrs any ways, so they were in the wrong format to begin with. luckily she didnt decided to be an ever bigger ***** and replace the images before we could fix them.

I bought totallypimpedout from her last year during the firesale, actually thru a DP marketplace thread. I was pretty new to msp then, luckily the transition went smooth since it was a considerable amount of money I gave her. Site has been 'totally pimped out' from how I bought it from her, but I'm still going thru the layouts she provided with the sale, and youe correct geg2, they (css) should not be used as is.
