Here is a killer font finding site. I've working with graphics for years but I never knew this existed until today.
If you have an example of a cool font, like on a MySpace comment, and you want to use it but have no idea what it's called, you can go HERE (http://www.fonts.com/FindFonts/SearchBySight.htm) and search for it by answering different questions. Some of you seasoned pros might think this is old news, but it blew me away. It didn't help me find what I was looking for because I had so few letters in front of me, but it might help you out. The only problem is that once you find your font they want you to pay for it, but the good news is that some of those fonts can be found at Dafont and other free sites.
Happy font hunting,
Tammy

What the font? (http://www.whatthefont.com/) Answering questions is for suckers... with this you just upload the image and it tells you what it is.

You need to find a clear example, as clear as possible. Not always possible, but most of the time I have success.

That almost never works with snowy glitter graphics. :/ But it's a good site too!

Oh right... I've never tried with those. I'm sure if you took them into photoshop and cut away from of the clip art or glitter/snow effect it would help.

I prefer What The Font. It works if you have a clean sample.

lol the one with the questions u got to like have the entire font set laid out for you, and the one where you have to upload a image...doesn't work when its decorated like many are.
But its awesome that they have sites for that stuff... both were new to me

No you dont...just enter the font letters you do have to work with... upper or lower and it'll base it's questions on that
