How the pros deal with the increase of bandwidth from their sites? are you hosting the images somewhere else? Can somebody give me a real example from their experience on how many bandwidth they are using with xx,xxx users per day or xxx,xxx of page views per day. Just to have an idea. I'm new to this!

MySpace sites don't use that much resources I don't think, compared to how many visitors they get. MySpace websites don't get viewed all that much. A forum such as this probably uses more bandwidth per visitor than a MySpace site.

You really have no clue what your talking about.....MySpace websites use more in a day then this forum uses in probably a month.

Resources are Massive also...This site uses almost nothing compared to a MySpace Resource site.

Agreed. Why do people post when they have no idea what they are talking about?

I am using thousands of gigabytes per month

getting back to the point every one needs to move to a dedicated server once the traffic increases.
i guess once a site starts eating 5 gb of bandwidht a day (1k unique) you should start looking at options.

also its wise to make one big move to dedicate host for once and not move ur site from one reseller to another.

the correct solution is a dedicated server where a site can sit and grow easily.

and nevermind what ever anyone else is using. most owners pay 2 at the most 3 days of revenue towards hosting.

just my 2 cents.

probly get a dedicated server, dont mess around with shared hosting on your bandwidth..

good luck with it.

If you can't afford to upgrade to a dedicated server, I recommend taking advantage of other resources by using services like Photobucket or Myspace to host your graphics.
