How long have you been doing MS related websites, resource sites, graphics sites etc?

I guess for me, I started back in 04 when I first joined I immediatly seeked out ways to customize my profile and was happily part of the bbz crew a little bit later. Things progressed and one thing lead to another, now it's my hobby and job and I am STILL happy doing it. I have met many people along the way and it let's me express myself in a way that I am familiar with. Officially though, I've had a couple sites but had to close them. Dirt2 launched in June of 07.

I used to make stuff for my own MySpace and then people starting asking me to make them one. I started a graphics site in January 07 but I just turned it into a MySpace site awhile ago... it's my hobby unfortunately and I guess you could call it a job.

Started making sites about 8 months ago, myspace about 7. Got lucky with some and seen the potential. I now earn more than somebody working a full time minimum wage job. Still just a hobby for me now, hope to make it full time in a few years.

Been in full time online marketing since 1998 but only started doing MySpace layout sites since early this past summer after me and the wife decided we wanted to work on something together online combining her design skills and my web savvy.

We were initially going to buy something via Sitepoint that we could build up but after seeing a few MySpace layout sites up for sale on there that had decent revenue and then finding MSLS and this site we decided we would give it a go from scratch.

started a myspace site back in mid 2005.

sold it off to a mega site in 2006, made a few smaller ones.

was around doing myspace promo back in the days of screen name forum as well lolz some legit sellers back in the day =(.

Been making $$$ online for a long time but did the whole eBay sales thing in like 2003, then did affiliate marketing, then SEO and websites.

atm dont invest much time into the niche of myspace as its a niche that is too saturated and the ROI is not high..

atm looking for other niches, and also investing into good domains =))

This whole MySpace thing is really new to me.. I've known how to make layouts for a really long time but I never really did anything with it other than customize my own profile.. its not a business either (except for selling a few graphics and layouts), I'm only doing it because its fun. I've been into making website/forum skins and normal graphics for as long as I can remember. Used to make Backstreet Boys fansites when I was younger

I started making layouts at myspace.com (myspace.com/_hl) back in 06. I wasn't that serious at making stuff that time, it was only a hobby but when thousands of people kept adding me every day, of course I felt that they liked my layouts and got into it until nucleacentury.com hosted me (hotlayouts.nuclearcentury.com) then I decided to get my own domain after few months , which is now hot-lyts.com - and it's my very first job ever! <3

I started with very basic website designs & graphics from 2001-2003.
Then I started a resource site on Open Diary in 2004, when my sis told me about it.

My sis converted me to MySpace in '05. I got annoyed with MySpace 'cause I could never find layouts that I liked. I kept the same boring pink layout for months. I was very slow & didn't think that I could start a resource site for this too. I'm still kicking myself.

That all changed in January '06, when I stumbled across Whateverlife.com & was like why didn't I think of starting something like this before, duh! I finally launched Sweet Designs in July '06.

That's my story. :)

It's been a hobby for me since 98, back then it was good old html since I knew nothing else. I caught onto the myspace stuff probably about a year ago "too late".

I can remember getting the spam myspace related emails and thinking it would never go anywhere... boy was I wrong :)

Going way back for this one :) In 1993, I just got Photoshop 2.5.1 and the web browser Mosaic was released. I had an SGI Onyx workstation sitting in the corner, so I setup NCSA HTTP on it and was running my own server. So I farted around with creating some of the first images ever used on the internet (I know hard to believe). Here is a very old cached version of my very first web page.

http://www.open.org/images/bullet.htm

Those graphics were spectacular for 93-94 lol. I ended up with a few hundred that I created and they were included with almost ever HTML book published from 94-96. If only I was more business savvy back then.
