I know there are a bunch of people who start working on facebook's widget and such.. how do you make money from it?

just create a tool and try to pull traffic from that?

thanks..

facebook gives the app developer the right to put advertising on the facebook users page - it's called "pixel sharing." the app is usually a small presence on the overall profile of the user. when it is getting used, the app gets a whole page, of which the app developer gets 90% or more of the ad space to put ads on it as they wish.

you can also monetize by promoting other apps with your app. rockyou does this, and i think they only charge 10 cents / user.

Seems that there is much potential in facebook compare to myspace ....

Putting ads on the applications, making application builders (so that every time someone makes an application using YOUR app' builder, your ads get displayed on it), promoting your other app's or websites.
