I'd love to know how to code them..
Also how to make really good ones that would sell..

Does anyone have any idea as to how to teach someone how to code & make them?

You just have to be creative.

I usually get ideas from magazines, t-shirts, other layouts, etc... then I do my own thing.

Just be creative and do them on something you enjoy.

Its really simple if you have basic css knowledge.
You can learn css within a few minutes over here: http://www.w3schools.com/css/default.asp

Andrew has a really useful list of the classes used:
http://dirt2.com/ms/classes/

All you need to do is just assign some css properties to them :)

I use Nuclearcentury.com (http://myspace.nuclearcentury.com/profileeditor.php)
Their Profile editor is amazing.

I just tweak the code that is generated a little to make it a little more unique.

you could pay someone to make you a template and explain all the parts.

I would suggest checking out these places:

There was also this book called hacking myspace or something, it first learns you the css basics and then how to code the layouts.. it even talks about making divs in one of the last chapters.. I'd definitely recommend it if you haven't played around with the layout codes and css yet :)
