You can probably get similar results by using the blur or smudge tool set at a very low %. That basically removes any signs of pores and acne. The clone tool could also work.

You can duplicate the base layer > set the duplicate to "soft light" > then go to Filter > Blur > Gaussian Blur? :D

Don't use smudge. Use the blur tool.

I use blur tool on the skin, on 30% opacity.
