I need to figure something out so if you are being logged out now after the server move or anything else does not work as it used to, please let me know.

The pager always makes me log in again, and it takes 10 minutes to load. :(

What takes 10 minutes to load?

Links.

e.g. http://www.myspacepros.com/forum/showthread.php?t=13568

showing me as logged out on the linked page although I'm logged in on the referring page.

It has always new or old server logged me out when I have clicked a link that does not use www. such as http://myspacepros. In reference to mcfox's post above.

That issue should be resolved now. I stay logged in if I switch from the www URI to the non-www URI.

What takes 10 minutes to load? The pager itself?

Yes the pager itself :(

Yes the pager itself :(
I just tried to send a vPager message to half a dozen people and it took 3 to 4 seconds to load for me... I'll look into it though.

Actually it's loading pretty fast now!

Although a couple days ago, I would have to log in again to get to the pager itself and then it would take forever to load. It's not like it was a bother, but it was acting "differently" lol

It's alot better. It uses to have this random time out thing every couple hours for a couple minutes. I haven't experienced it in a good week now!

That has now been solved, so hopefully all is well. I'm not sure why, but the search engines are spidering like mad right now so the site might slow down a bit as there's close to 100 different spiders on the site right now.

Does it want to be indexable by search engines though? I forget where there was a thread we all preferred if it was for registered members only. Otherwise people can just come on and grab freebies etc

I'm taking it under serious consideration to make the forum for registered members only and a decision isn't far off. Regardless, I'll come up with a solution to disallow unregistered users to view images.

Yeah, I was just about to suggest that. And perhaps make some of the sections private. It'd probably work out better for you anyway, more registered users when they're like "damn, I need to see that image"

Also, it USED to be you had to be registered / logged in to see any pages past page 1. Now that works regardless, just thought I'd let you know!

Somewhere along the line I broke that feature and it got removed while I was adding some other non-related feature and never got around to implementing it again.

I'm going to wait until the big 3.7 upgrade to mess about with the forum any more because I have a feeling that's going to be a good 24 hour session as it is and I'd rather not add any more work than I have to.

Yes don't add any hacks or anything else to the Forum until after 3.7 comes out. I have been playing with it for a couple of days and there are some great features in it.
