I know the coding for the basic myspace layouts, obviously, HTML, css, etc. but what does it mean when people say "Is it MSRS compatable?".
Is there a certain code or something, I'm just pretty confused on the whole thing.
Thanks in advance.

It's the same code, except don't include any links to the background or contact tables or networks banners. So basically just specify text/tables/links etc
You name the contact table contact.jpg/gif and the ex-network banner network.jpg/gif and the background bg.jpg/gif.
You put the css in a file called css.php. And create a thumbnail called thumb.jpg/gif
The thumbnail for the set must be 60x60 in size.
Then if you are making Car layouts you'd have them in a folder like this:
-- Cars
---- Ferrari
-------- network.jpg
-------- contact.jpg
-------- bg.jpg
-------- css.php
-------- thumb.jpg
---- Porsche
-------- network.jpg
-------- contact.jpg
-------- bg.jpg
-------- css.php
-------- thumb.jpg
---- thumbs
-------- Cars.jpg

Thanks for the info David. I'm new to MSRS and was wondering how the content structure worked without an admin cp. Cheers!
btw: nice layout package you're selling.

No worries, I learnt about it from people on here, so I'm just passing on the knowledge :)
Thanks, people are saying it's nice but not many people seem to be buying, doesn't seem like it was worth the effort to make :surrender: probably won't do any further packs. Good job I only made 45!

I can send a sample layout in it's native format for those wanting to know exactly how to code/structure layouts for MSRS for anyone interested. Just pm me.
David, you layouts are excellent but I think the price is just too much for most people. Not saying they aren't worth it, but everyone seems to be used to buying packs at between $20 and $30 and getting even more layouts (not any better quality but just more layouts for the price). Even the group buy is an example of what people can get for about the same price ;).
I think you might be able to get more orders on DP but on here, it seems the best selling point is usually under $30. Might not be worth it for you since they are higher quality...but then again, if you can sell a lot more at a lower pricepoint you may make more in the long run lol. If you could bring yourself to sell the pack for $25 you would probably sell loads of them ;)
I personally would have bought them if I had the extra cash but right now I have to go for the cheaper things heheh.

I see I see :D Thanks Scilynt.
After reading your post I decided to release my other pack with a lower price of $25. I also spoke to someone else who said maybe halving the Female Celeb pack and the price might help, so it's purchasable (real word?!) in smaller chuncks, I may do that and see what happens.
