During a session at SES called "Are Paid Links Evil?" Cutts presented a slide presentation, which he was approved to release, distinguishing the types of paid links Google doesn't like. Cutts cited first a Federal Trade Commission ruling opinion that said sponsored or advertising links must be clearly labelled, and further differentiated between paid links by saying the only ones penalized were links that passed on page rank (PPP).

What I find unbloodybelievable is this amateurish slide presentation which could have been done by an 8 year old .... a he11 of a lot better I might add.

Google, one of the largest, richest, fastest growing companies in the world put's this piece of amaterish garbage out there for all to see.
Matt Cutt's aka Google .... you are a joke .... ROFL

Well, I too prefer at least somewhat designed slides (I mean, with Office 2007 there really is no excuse), but each to their own I guess. The slides basically are just black text on a white background, with no design.

IMO, Google is trying to scare people a bit. I'm sure their algorithm is smart enough to detect if your website has 10 links to online casinos and home patio furniture, but beyond this I'm not sure it'd be quite so easy.
